If I has it to do over again...
If I had it to do over again.......I would have talked less and listened more. “making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.”
如果可以重來一次,我會少說,多聽;
I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained and the sofa faded.
我會邀請朋友來家裡吃飯,不論家裡的地毯、沙發是否有些髒;
I would have taken time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.
If I had it to do over again......I would have sat on the lawn with my children and play.
如果可以重來一次,我會與孩子們坐在草地上玩樂;
I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my wife.
我願意在家庭中,為妻子多分擔一點家務;
I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day.
Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment of the wonderment growing inside my wife.
我不會期望妻子懷孕的九個月快過去,而是珍惜胎兒在母體成長的每刻驚奇;
When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, "Do your homework first."
If I had it to do over again......There would have been more "I love you's" than "I'm sorry's".
If I had it to do over again......I would seize every minute and give love to every person around me.
—Holy Bible, Ephesians 5:16
※ Something to Remember…
Cherish every moment of the day now. Do not regret in the future.
